Matthew S. Naylor

CEO & Principal

Matthew Naylor became Chief Executive Officer for the Elite Companies in 1995. His work history at Elite spans over 16 years. An attendee of Drexel University of Philadelphia, he began his career working for Elite Brokerage Services through the University's co-op program. Mr. Naylor assisted in founding Elite Underwriting Services with his father and together they have grown the Elite brand from just a single operating company with only a few employees to 8 operating companies today, over 160 employees and multiple locations. These entities include Elite Underwriting Services, Elite Brokerage Services, The Elite Group, Elite P&C, Health Insurance Innovations, RLJ Insurance Services, Naylor Group Partners and the Elite Companies Charitable Foundation (ECCF).

With more than 1,000 clients in aggregate throughout the United States and a diverse set of products and services, Elite continues to maintain the small business service philosophy that has led to the company's ongoing success and growth in all of the functional areas of operations. Mr. Naylor is responsible for developing the strategic plan to execute on his vision and objectives and to oversee the revenue growth and profitability of the company. With an entrepreneurial spirit, he has built this strategic vision and direction of Elite around the company's core operating expertise in underwriting, consulting, brokerage and technology.

Mr. Naylor has served on various public, non-profit and private for-profit boards as a Director and Independent Trustee and is very active in his community. He is currently the Chairman of the Board for the Academy in Manayunk and the Vice Chairman of The Elite Companies Charitable Foundation. He has also served on the public Board of First National Bank of Chester County and Chester County Chamber of Commerce and is a member of YPO International. Mr. Naylor also involved with several industry associations including Self Insured Institute of America (SIIA), Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers (CIAB), Society of Professional Benefits Administrators (SPBA) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
